Designing and co-facilitating a Masterclass for women digital entrepreneurs in West Africa

This Masterclass was organised in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) and aimed at helping women digital entrepreneurs from West and Central Africa to become key players in building a more inclusive digital economy. It was designed and coordinated by Candace Nkoth Bisseck  for the United Nations (UNCTAD) and supported by the government of the Netherlands.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation

Mentoring and coaching African women entrepreneurs for the Tony Enumelu Foundation’s WE4A acceleration program (Women Entrepreneurship for Africa). The initiative was jointly supported by the European Union (EU), the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

AWIEF (African Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum) /Canada Funds for local initiatives/ UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization)

Training of a cohort of 40 professional and entrepreneurial women from South Africa bybuilding skills in digital channels in the context of an e-commerce capacity development programme.

University of Basel Innovation Office

Developing and supporting the delivery of a program to support innovative entrepreneurs addressing systemic health challenges in Africa.

 

L’Oreal Foundation

Designing and conducting a training on digital personal branding as a career development and glass ceiling breaking tool to a cohort of women researchers from sub-Saharan Africa. The training was part of L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science fellowship.

Training to female professionals to build online personal branding and networking skills to transform their careers and make a greater impact through their work

French International Cooperation Agency

Framing of a project aiming at supporting the resilience of SMEs in Africa region, as a part of ACP‐European Union digital response to the COVID 19 crisis.

African Leadership University

Conducting mentoring sessions to African Leadership University students within the context of the university the e-commerce and Digital Economy Programme.

Government of Cameroon

Ran a workshop on digital skills development for the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Cameroon as part of a series of consultation aiming at identifying the best development strategies for the digital economy in Cameroon national policies framework.

Candace Nkoth Bisseck, Founder & CEO

Innoa Consulting was founded by Candace Nkoth Bisseck. Candace is a world citizen from Africa, and for the past 13 years, her work has been at the intersection of the digital economy, capacity building (consulting, coaching, workshop facilitation, training, program development), entrepreneurship and social impact, with a particular interest in women empowerment. Candace has a rich global experience, collaborating with governments and organizations such as the United Nations, L’Oreal Foundation, Jumia, Stanford University, among others.

Thanks to her diverse and international career, Candace has lived, worked, and travelled across more than 35 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. She, therefore, relies on a strong and global network of experts and partners she developed over the years, to help the firm’s clients to achieve their goals in the most effective, innovative and efficient way.
